Swimwear has become so trendy and chic that it has become acceptable to wear your swimsuits as clothing. This allows for less packing and more time in the sun on vacations. It is also perfect when you are at a pool party in the city that lasts from noon until the sun sets. Ok so I am going to show you how to take your bathing suit from beach to bar using gorgeous swimsuits by Project Swimwear. (www.projectswimwear.com)
Gabrielle Beauregard is the CEO of Project Swimwear. She studied merchandising at Lasell College, started working a 9-5 job, but wanted a creative side project to do while still maintaining her full time job.
Gabrielle loves online shopping and has always had trouble finding bathing suits because she feels many girls have a different body type than her. She wanted to create an e-commerce website for swimwear that is merchandised on various body types to really stress the fact that every body can be a “bikini body” and women should feel pretty and confident when wearing swimwear.
- Bikini top with wide leg, high waist pants: the pants are super comfy and lightweight, but instantly add coverage and an evening flare.
2. Bandeau top and maxi skirt: Maxi skirts are super comfy, easy to throw in a beach bag, and you can slip them on in two seconds. Perfect for a roof deck pool in the city.
3. Add kimono: This look is ideal for when you do not want to leave the pool but you want to have some style and maybe some coverage as the sun goes down.
Gabrielle can not wait to branch out and collaborate with a bunch of different designers and brands and make Project Swimwear a market place for a variety of swimsuits that flatter all shapes and sizes.
