I recently had the pleasure of styling Hannah Riddle de Rojas who is 25 weeks pregnant with her first child. Woo hoo!!!!
Hannah Riddle de Rojas is the President of SolBe Learning, a Spanish immersion early education center in Boston. She has experience as a preschool educator, center director and adjunct faculty. Hannah earned her Master’s degree in Adult ESL Education at Hamline University and has a B.S. in Child Psychology and B.A. in Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota. To recharge, Hannah mountain bikes with her husband and spends time with their dog, Moc
Hannah gave me a budget of $250. She also told me she is not bold with her style and prefers neutrals. She also told me no brights, yellows, pinks, or animal print (everything I love hahaha)…..but it is not about me when I am styling…it is about making the client happy!!!
We tackled the bottoms first……we knew she needed jeans, black pants, leggings, and a skirt because those are basics that can be mixed and matched.
Hannah looks great in shades of green as she is a red head, and we found this gorgeous satin blouse that she can wear with jeans or dress pants for work.
This polka dot t-shirt will look great with a pop of red shoes or a red necklace.
This basic, striped tank looked amazing with leggings, the black pants, and the black skirt.
We tried on sooooo many tops…….and they all looked adorable on her…..but we had a budget…..
Ultimately, Hannah picked the mauve color top because it was so soft and comfy and an a great color for spring transition. (note that she said no pink BUT I found a shade that complimented her coloring!)
This long, black maxi was a no-brainer. Shows off her cute belly, and she can wear this up until her June due date with a tank top.
For dresses, we went with this plum t-shirt dress that she can wear now with tights and booties, in spring with mules, and in summer with flip flops. You can also layer it with a long cardigan. This color is another great shade for a red head!!!
And my FAVE….this cobalt blue dress for more formal occasions!!!!!
All in all we ended up $7 under budget with a grand total of $243!!! I had a ball styling Hannah and wish her the best throughout the remainder of her pregnancy!
