Pencil skirts have been a wardrobe staple since the 1960’s. I think a lot of people shy away from wearing pencil skirts because they are so fitted. However, paired up with the right top and making sure you buy a pencil skirt with the proper fit will solve this problem. I suggest buying a pencil skirt in a rayon blend or in leather because the skirt won’t snag. High-waisted pencil skirts are also very flattering. Lastly, you can consider going up one size so the skirt fits better in the hip area. OK….with that being said, here are some modern ways to rock this classic skirt.
