Hats are a great accessory to take a girl from day to night without the tedious task of having to wash your hair. I don’t know about all of you, but I HATE to dry my hair during the summer months. I have long, thick hair and it takes forever to dry!  Summer hats are amazing!! I love to wear baseball caps, floppy hats, and panama hats during the summer months. This blog article will focus on how hats can help you make the transition from daytime outfits to night time outfits in a jiffy….

1. The Floppy Hat-We all know what a floppy hat looks like. We see them on women of all ages at the beach quite often.

 

These hats also look super cute with dresses, rompers, and jeans.

 

2. The Panama Hat– This is my fave hat to wear in the summer!!! I love it!!! It is casual enough for the beach, but looks chic enough to wear out in the city at night. And it is a bit smaller than the floppy hat, which makes it slightly easier to wear.

They look great with dresses and skirts…

 

And they look great with white or black pants and a contrasting colored hat!

 

I found my panama hat at the Children’s Place!!! Do not laugh!!! If you are petite, or have a smaller sized head, you MUST try on the hats in this store!!! They fit amazing, and they are super cheap….like… less than $10 cheap! Here is me in my panama hat.

 

3. The baseball hat- We all have a baseball hat somewhere in our house…all of us…in fact, I have baseball hats that are over a decade old…but I love them…older baseball hats are like jeans…the more worn in they are…the more comfortable…Baseball hats are super easy to wear to the beach or pool.

 

But they also look cute when you wear them with workout clothes, jeans, or casual dresses.

 

If you want to dress up a baseball hat a little bit, just add a statement necklace!

 

Like the panama hat, I buy baseball hats in youth sizes. I actually find a bunch of great baseball hats at Target in youth sizes that represent the Boston sports teams. Also, baseball hats are almost always adjustable, so there is one out there for every head size! lol

So ladies…the moral of this story is…do not worry about your hair so much…especially in summer…put off that blowdry just ONE MORE DAY…and sport a hat instead. 🙂
