Sometimes it is crazy to see history repeat itself in the fashion world…sometimes we embrace the nostalgia…..and sometimes it weirds us out…..A lot of people have expressed to me that they are excited about the return of the 90s sporty trends, but they are unsure what to wear and how to wear and if they should pull out some items they saved…so here is my advice to my readers….
- Kangol hats…..If you saved these like I did, pull them out…they are totally back in style in the bucket style fit…..the new kangol hats they are selling in stores currently look no different than the ones we rocked in 1999.
So happy that I saved my white fuzzy one…it is like I never skipped a beat…
I also saved my black bucket hat, as well as my Kangol scally cap. Pull yours out if you have them stuffed away!
2. Anything Fila….
I bought a bodysuit from Macy’s…LOVE that it can be dressed up or down…

4. Matchy sweatsuits….

5. Pants with Stripes Down The Side…. This is definitely the most modern way to rock a 90s trend…
6. Over-sized Adidas anything….
I am loving the baggy style sweats….
7. Puffer jackets…
8. Metallics… Shirts…shoes…skirts…coats…everything is shiny and metallic…and I totally remember rocking shirts like this in the clubs!
I am loving a pop of metallic in a heel…..simple….but trendy…
Or a clutch and a heel paired up for a formal event…
Or a sweater paired up with jeans for a casual look…
9. Fanny packs…I do not know why I was so against these back in the day because they are very practical and comfortable…especially if you are a busy mom and need your hands free!
They even look great dressed up at night!
