During the month of December many people like to wear red….or green….Personally, red is my favorite color in the world. However, I do look better in green…as do most people. In fact, green is a universally flattering color. It literally looks amazing on everyone…red heads…brunettes…blondes….anyhow, although I wear green year round…I LOVE wearing it during the holiday season!!! Here are some ways you can wear this color during the month of December…and beyond…

 

I actually loved these two palettes, and I think they are a great inspiration on different ways you can pair various colors up with emerald-green. I always loved gold and emerald together, but never really thought to match up shades of purple and lilac with this color. It really does look amazing though….Adds a pop of color….and it is sort of unexpected too, which makes you look trendy.

 

Wear an emerald-green dress instead of a black one….

 

Same goes for skirts….

 

Emerald green also pops against mustard yellow…

 

And cobalt blue…

I am loving emerald-green, tie front blouses at the moment…I bought one from Ann Taylor Loft actually…kind of hard to fully see in this photo but you get the idea….

 

Combine two trends together by pairing up velvet blazers and emerald-green.

 

This idea also works with a velvet green skirt…

 

And of course simple always works too……

With black anything….

 

or jeans….

 

But my FAVORITE way to wear emerald-green ALL year…is with leopard!!!!!! So hot!!
