I am obsessed with the athleisure trend that is all the rage right now! It is both functionable and fashionable….my fave combo….especially as a busy mom of an 8 year old boy. If you were in Middle School or High School in the late 1980s or early 1990s in the Boston area like I was…then you wore adidas shell toe sneakers. I am a fan of the “three stripes”, and I am thrilled they are back in action. The sneakers are super comfy, but yet stylish enough to wear for an entire Saturday. I bought the ones with the gold from Journeys, because I think gold makes anything look more fancy…even sneakers. (Hint: if you can fit in a kid’s size, go for it. They are the exact same sneaker for at least $20 less) After I bought the sneakers, I stumbled upon this jacket at Nordstrom for $80. It makes a perfect spring jacket to throw on with comfy clothes or even jeans.
