I have a ton of messages in my inbox from friends and followers telling me that they really need to clean out their closets for Fall and organize better, but they do not know where to begin.

Here are some questions to ask yourself when deciding what to toss away:

1. How old is the item?
2. What condition is the item in? (Get rid of anything with stains or pilling)
3. When was the last time I wore this?
4. Does it feel uncomfortable on? (I gave away anything in my closet made of wool because I always hate the feeling and never wear it)
5. How often do I really wear this?
