Leopard print is iconic……a classic print worn by generations of women. However, like all fashion prints…leopard print’s popularity has gone in cycles. At some points in time, it was even considered “tacky” to be seen in leopard print anything…..not the case this year!!!! It is back and better than ever!! In fact both leopard and snakeskin are all the rage this spring. I am so excited because this is my absolute favorite animal print to wear by far! This print also looks great with all hair and skin colors too because it has browns, tans, and blacks in it. Here are some ways to work leopard into your closets!
- Dress: I admit that I have been on the hunt for a leopard print dress…found a snakeskin one…..but not a leopard one yet!!! Dying to wear one! This dress is also something that can transfer to the fall with black tights.
2. Skirt:
Love the Dolce and Gabanna skirt I scored on a bargain at Madison Ave. in Melrose last winter!
By the way…I love adding pops of green with leopard print….my fave color to pair up with this print.
3. Sweater….After all, leopard print sweaters can be work year round…
I found this leopard print sweater on the clearance rack at Target. I literally throw it in my bag all the time because it does not wrinkle and it matches so many different colors.
4. Jacket: Light-weight leather jackets are perfect for spring!
I found this leopard bomber jacket at Marshalls for less than $20.
5. Pants: Loving the leopard joggers…I WILL find a pair! But the straight leg style pant in a leopard print is also trending in a huge way.
***If you think leopard is too bold for you, but still want to try “little splashes” of it here and there I suggest the following:
*Shoes:
I recently found an awesome pair of BCBG leopard heels on sale at Macy’s online for less than $50.
*Headbands: These are all the rage in the hair accessory world lately so why not get one in a leopard print. Would add a pop to your all black…. all tan…..or all white outfits.
*Scarf:
*Clutch: Loves these for night!
My friend Katie bought me the cutest leopard clutch for Christmas!
